Ryan and the team at United Faith were amazing! We were trying to pull cash out of our current home's equity to help us purchase some land. Started with another company that said they could have an approval in a week. Two weeks went by with nothing from them and our seller was getting nervous. Reached out to Ryan and within a week we had our approval for the seller, and less than two weeks after that we were closing. My husband and I just finished the process of refinancing our house through United Faith Mortgage, with the help of loan officer Thomas Legotte. We had been considering refinancing for several years, but we never moved forward because we thought the process would be too difficult and we weren’t sure if it would actually save us any money. I heard a commercial for United Faith Mortgage on the radio, and finally decided to see if refinancing was right for us. First off, I want to say that Thomas and everyone else we’ve interacted with through the company have been wonderful. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process went so smoothly and I’m so glad we did it! We didn’t even have to leave our home for any step of the process. Thomas and I communicated both through email and phone calls, and when it was time to close, a notary came to our house (my choice of location) to help us sign all the paperwork. Not only was the process easy, but we also saved a good amount of money. We were able to switch to a 15 year loan with a lower interest rate from our original 30 year loan, which we’d been paying off for 10.5 years. We didn’t have to pay closing costs (in fact we got money back at closing!), and our monthly payment was almost exactly the same as we’d been paying before. Thomas told us that we would be saving around $22,000 over the life of the loan because of our refinance. We’re so happy we chose to refinance, and so happy we chose United Faith Mortgage to help us!

We usually associate getting a mortgage, new car or a refinance with a trip to the doctors office. Our experience with United Faith Mortgage was totally different. Our mortgage loan originators name was Stuart Leviton. He was wonderful person to work with. He worked hard trying to remove the PMI from our loan and lower our monthly payment. On top of that, he contacted me frequently to keep me informed on the process. He's the perfect type of person for the job. He knows what he's doing and he knows how to talk to people and make them comfortable. Every time that he called, it was like talking to an old friend. He was able to trim off almost $200.00 a month from our monthly payment. He was always pleasant and extremely competent. He would always get back with me immediately if he didn't answer his phone. I even had his cell for after hours questions. I've heard about UFM for years listening to WayFM. I'll be transparent and say I typically shy away from businesses that advertise via faith. Mostly because they often don't meet simple standards I think they should. UFM definitely does not fit that scenario and exceeded all of my expectations.A few years ago I called them to see about refinancing for a lower rate/term. They were completely honest with me, saying they couldn’t do better than what I already had. Fast forward to now, with interest rates being so low, they stuck out in my mind as a company I should revisit.UFM set me up with Stuart who was tremendous to work with through the entire process. I've refinanced other homes to accomplish similar goals, and I have to say Stuart made this time the easiest ever. With rates so low my wife and I had decided to apply for a home equity loan to payoff some bills. After working with our current lender frustration set in from always having a different person involved each step of the way and then dragging the process out. While listening to my favorite radio station Spirit 105.3 Erica in the Afternoon, I heard a commercial from United Faith Mortgage for refinancing a home mortgage. The commercial stated that interest rates were projected to rise soon, encouraging me to get one of the lower rates.They also had a special going that would provide $1000 toward my closing costs. Vincent was not only respectful of my time he was understanding of my concerns, and willing to explain the process. (More times then he should have had too.)I am a face to face person and I have apprehension to doing business over the phone or computer especially in todays digital world.They help me thought the process. It was vary easy after I got over the apprehensions.In summery I say they are a professional, no pressure, service oriented mortgage company with you in mind.

We appreciate all United Faith Mortgage did for our refinance journey. They worked hard and reached out to gather information when they needed it. We had both phone calls and emails to respond to and to keep us up to date on progress. We also had the luxury of having the closing at our home residence. We were a little frustrated at first as we didn't feel heard after comparing two different options, 15 yr vs 30 yr loans, and we settled on the 30 yr. However, all the documentation we received had us financed for a 15 yr loan. When we brought this to the attention of our representative we were told it would be changed down the road in the process. It was not and when we pointed it out again it was like we had to start the process all over again. It felt to us like they may have been overwhelmed with the amount of clients they had to work with and balls were being dropped. We also ended up not getting our interest locked at what we had hoped because of the delays in rewriting paperwork. Not exactly the same experience as what we hear advertised on the radio but I am sure they have had an overwhelming response to the need for this service with the low interest rates and the pressure to get things done expediently. But when things are rushed that's when mistakes likely happen. Still overall, we were able to have all our needs met for an end result that worked in our favor. Our DTI ratio was still too high but he was honest and upfront that it would be better to wait. When the time came, it was smooth sailing, we ended up not needing an appraisal, and closed within a few weeks. He was never too busy to return calls and answer all our questions.
